The food was excellent and the staff was helpful. Liked the SUPERIOR king room, felt like we were home. The place is 1 km away from Bury St. Edmunds downtown.

Brilliant meal and efficient service. Appreciated how very clean the room was. Plenty of restaurants to eat close by, like Mings Oriental that was only 5 minutes' walk away. We didn't want to leave, recommend.

Voujon indian cuisine, that serves fantastic dishes, is literally 300 m away. Lovely building. A brilliant base for exploring Bury St. Edmunds. We loved northgate so we would have extended the stay.
